This Arroz a Banda Paella Kit is an easy way to make paella with professional quality. You can make Paella in only two steps. This comes with easy instructions to cook the paella in the hob and in the oven. The kit consists of the ingredients to make a Paella A Banda for 2-3 people: 200g of Rice Albufera variety, which perfectly balances to make a flavourful, full of aroma and perfect texture paella; and 800g of traditional stock with the basic vegetables and all the needed spices, such saffron and paprika, with the squid rings included. This stock has only natural ingredients and is made with a traditional recipe.

Ingredients:

Rice, water, fish stock (20%): (fish and crustaceans (selection of Morralla (30%) and Galera (shrimp) (3%)), fried tomato (natural tomato, olive oil, sugar, salt) (15%), garlic (3%), salt, natural aroma, natural colourant, tomato, paprika, caramelized onion, saffron), squid (16%), sunflower oil. Keep at room temperature in a fresh and dry place. Once opened, keep in the refrigerator a maximum of 3 days or in the freezer in a suitable container for a maximum of one month.

Cooking Method:

Oven (recommended):

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 C, with the fan on if possible.
  2. Pour the contents of the can into a paella pan (32 cm diameter). Put on to heat. You can add some raw or stir-fried diced fish, such as tuna, emperor fish, monkfish, shrimps...
  3. Bring to boil and add the rice. Stir to distribute the rice over all the pan.
  4. Keep 3 minutes in high heat
  5. Place it in the middle of the oven and cook for 14 minutes. It is recommended to carefully shake the pan to even the rice when 10 minutes left.
  6. Leave to stand for 3 minutes and enjoy! It is recommended to mix the rice for a uniform cook point.

Hob:

  1. Pour the contents of the can into a paella pan (32 cm diameter). Put on to heat. If you are using a pan with a bigger diameter, the water may be consumed more quickly, so you can add up to 150 ml of water. You can add some raw or stir-fried diced fish, such as tuna, emperor fish, monkfish, shrimps...
  2. Bring to boil and add the rice. Stir to distribute the rice over all the pan.
  3. Keep 1 minute in high heat then 16 minutes in very low heat. Remove from the hub.
  4. Leave to stand for 3 minutes and enjoy!
